What is the PIQ Form in the SSB Interview and How to Fill It?

  • Name, age, place of birth
  • Family details, including parents’ occupation and siblings
  • Schools attended, marks obtained in various exams, year of passing
  • Positions of responsibility held (like captain of a school team or head boy/girl)
  • Participation in debates, dramatics, or any other social activities
  • Any awards or achievements in these areas
  • Details of sports played, level of participation (e.g., school, state, national)
  • Leadership roles in teams, medals, or recognitions
  • Employment history, job roles, responsibilities
  • If you have NCC or any other cadet training, details should be provided here.
  • Details about hobbies, social and community service activities, etc.
PIQ Form
  • Inconsistencies: Avoid contradicting your responses within the form and during the interview. For example, if you claim leadership skills, be prepared to support them with real-life examples.
  • Vagueness: Be specific about your achievements and experiences. Instead of just saying “I played football,” mention at what level you played and any significant achievements.
  • Filling the Form Hastily: Take your time to fill out the form. Review it to ensure all details are accurate and well-presented.
