AFCAT 1 2025 Notification
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 1 2025 Notification for 336 vacancies across Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. The exam is held twice a year, in February and August, respectively. The online application process will begin on 2nd December 2024 and remain open until 31 December 2024. General Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT Exam
Age: Candidates must be between 20 and 24 years old for the Flying Branch and 20 to 26 years old for the Technical and Ground Duty Branch.
Nationality: Candidates must be unmarried Indian citizens.
Physical standards: Candidates must have a BMI below, waist-hip ratio below 0.9 for males and 0.8 for females, waist circumference less than 94 cm for males and 89 cm for females and corrected visual acuity of 6/9 in each eye.
Educational Qualification:
(1) Candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Maths and Physics.
(2) Candidate must have a minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
(3) Candidate must have for the Technical Branch, a four-year engineering/technology degree or equivalent with 60% marks.
AFCAT 2025 Exam Pattern
Candidates preparing for the AFCAT Exam should be deep knowledge about Syllabus and Exam Pattern. The AFCAT Exam is conducted in two shifts and comprises General Awareness, English, Numerical Ability and Logical Aptitude Questions for non-EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test).
